Installation instructions for Omniset V7.4

Download the Omniset V7.4 Installation file from the website. 
The software will download as a single ZIP file, which
you should save to a convenient location on your hard drive.

1.	Go to our website www.omniflex.com and register if not already registered.
2.	Login with your new username and password.
3.	Download the Omniset software from the Omniset page.
4.	Do NOT shutdown your browser, because you need to be logged in to register the software in a later step.
5.	Install the Omniset Software by double-clicking the downloaded OSet74.ZIP file and 
	double-clicking on the Omniset installation file in the folder. Follow the prompts.
	Make sure software is run in "Administrator mode" for Windows 7 and Windows 10.
6.	Run the Omniset software (Start>All Programs>Omniflex>Omniset 7.4)
7.	You will be prompted to register. Click Yes. A box will pop up asking you to enter your registration details.
	At the bottom of this window is a big button that says “Get free registration details from web”. Click it.
8.	You will be taken to a page on our web site that will display your registration details.
	You can copy and paste these settings into the registration window, and then click “Ok”.
9.	Successful registration will be confirmed.
10.	Omniset then needs to know the serial port you wish to use for programming:
	Select “Options>Port Settings…” from the menu.
	Enter your serial port number into the first box “Serial Port  (1-255)”.
11.	The last thing to do is to update your template library to the latest from our web site.
	Select “File>Update Template Library from web…” from the menu to download the latest template library.
12.	You are now ready to go. To connect to a product, the easiest way is to plug the serial cable into the
	product and then select “File>Connect…” from the menu.
