The FCX (1300nm) is used to send a digital contact status bi-directionally over a fibre optic link using 1300nm single mode fibre with high safety integrity Level rating.

The OMNITERM FCX (1300nm) module provides the ability to send bidirectional contact status up to 20km over a 1300nm single mode optical fibre using 1300nm single mode fibre. When the contact on the FCX Transmitter side module is closed, the relay output on the FCX Receiver side module will be energised and vise versa. 

LEDs are provided to indicate the state of the input and output contacts and the presence of instrument power.

Fail safety is a key feature of this design. Care has been taken to ensure the highest level of reliability. Fail-safe 1oo2 safety circuit configuration.

Forming part of OMNIFLEX's extensive OMNITERM range of industrial instrumentation, the OMNITERM FCX is designed to be DIN rail or surface mounted and are an economical 22.5mm wide.
