Mini-jack programming cable with integral isolation, serial connector for PCs serial port or USB port using a USB to serial port adaptor (available from Omniflex as C1167A) and 3.5mm Mini-Jack for Omniflex programming port. Supplied with Omniset software.

NOTE: This product has been superseded by the C1178A

The Omniflex Mini-Jack Programming cable is designed to be used to configure all OMNIFLEX products equipped with a "mini-jack" programming socket.

Simply plug the "DB9" connector end of the cable into a standard serial port of  a Windows PC or into the serial port  of a USB to Serial Adaptor and then the USB plug into a USB port on the PC, and the mini-jack end into the programming socket of the OMNIFLEX product.  USB to Serial adaptor available from Omniflex.

Using the Omniset Configuration Software, the correct template file for the product to be configured, and this programming cable, any OMNIFLEX product equipped with a "mini-jack" programming socket may be configured quickly and easily, even while installed on the plant.

Full isolation in the cable ensures that any stray voltages present in the plant do not get to your computer keeping it safe from transients and ground loops.

For hard to reach places, use with a standard 3.5mm miniature stereo jack extension cable.

It is recommended to buy the USB to serial adaptor from Omniflex as it is known to work on Omniflex products.
